Overview #
If bowlers would like to continue their session, you can extend it by following the procedure below.
Extend A Lane #
Once you open a lane for an open play session (not a league or cross-lane game), the Open Lane button changes to Extend automatically.
- Please note: If a Time session is already open, the only option for extending the session is Time. The same holds true if the session is Game based. The system will only present the appropriate option for extending, based on how the lane was opened.
- If Bowlers have played most of their game and you only want to let them finish their game, you can set the Extend Type option to Until end of the game.
- There is a option to automate extending Until end of the game, This is explained in the Manger settings document.
Available Options #
Limit Type #
Normal #
If Normal is selected, then the session will be extended based on the entry made by the person extending the session. If you are extending a game session, you would enter the number of games by which the session is to be extended. In the example above, the session is to be extended by 2 games. You will need to calculate the total number of games, if multiple players are bowling. For example, if 4 players are bowling and they want to bowl 2 additional games, the math is 4 x 2 = 8. You would extend the session for 8 games.
Until end of the game #
This option is used during Time sessions. It allows you to extend a session until bowlers complete their game, even if the time for their session has expired.
Limited By #
As mentioned before, you are only able to extend the session based on the type that was opened. The appropriate value (Time or Game) will be displayed.
Limit Value #
Depending on the type of session being played, the appropriate options will be displayed for selecting how much time, or how many games the session is to be extended by.
Price #
This section will display how much bowlers should pay for the session extension.
